Joey Gordon

Bio:

Joey Gordon recently graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering and is now a graduate student in the department. Prior to that, he was a junior research specialist at the 88-Inch Cyclotron at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. He is currently using the optical physics models in Geant4 to study biases due to scintillator geometry and analysis methodologies in the double time-of-flight scintillator characterization effort. Joey is interested in the development of precision diagnostics and analysis techniques to study nuclear reactions, nuclear reactions themselves, and the experimental study of nuclear reactions in high energy-density environments.
